Les Misérables is so uplifting!

My Friend: I’m still just not sure how I feel about the movie version. I’ve been getting FB updates occasionally, but I find myself mostly cringing at them. But maybe I’m being too dramatic.

Me: lol, not sure it’s possible to be “too dramatic” in regards to Les Miz.

My Friend: But Les Mis is such a light-hearted show.

Me: FUN AND FANCY-FREE! Red – the colour of balloons Black – the colour of my liquorice

My Friend: Red, the color of my lipstick! Black, the color of my dress!

Me: Empty chairs at empty tables - cuz everyone’s dancin’!!!

My Friend: 24,601 smile on their faces!

Me: At the end of the day I’m having a party!

My Friend: Stars, in their multitudes, so pretty and shiny.

Me: Monsieur, le Mayor, you’ll wear a different chain - this gold one I got you at Tiffany’s!
